Semust provides Google Ads integration services that allow users to view and analyze their advertising campaign performance. This section explains how we handle data accessed through the Google Ads API.
Data Access and Processing:
- We access Google Ads data solely through the official Google Ads API with the user's explicit authorization.
- Data is retrieved in real-time and displayed directly to the user through our platform.
- We do not store, retain, or persist any Google Ads campaign data, metrics, or performance information on our servers.
- All Google Ads data processing occurs on our backend systems solely for the purpose of applying user-requested filters and formatting the data for display.
Limited Use Requirements:
Semust's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google Ads data accessed through our platform is used exclusively to provide and improve our Google Ads analytics and reporting features.
- We do not transfer Google Ads data to third parties except as necessary to provide our service or as required by law.
- We do not use Google Ads data for serving advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read Google Ads data except: (a) with your explicit consent for specific messages, (b) as necessary for security purposes, (c) to comply with applicable law, or (d) when the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Data Privacy and Security:
- Your Google Ads account access is secured through OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- We only request the minimum necessary permissions required to provide our Google Ads management and analytics features.
- You can revoke Semust's access to your Google Ads account at any time through your Google Account settings.
- Our team members do not have access to view your individual Google Ads campaign data.
No Data Storage Policy:
It is important to emphasize that Semust does not maintain any database or storage system for Google Ads data. When you view your campaign performance, analytics, or reports through Semust:
- Data is fetched directly from Google's servers in real-time.
- Processing occurs temporarily in memory for filtering and formatting purposes only.
- No Google Ads data is written to disk, cached, or retained after your session ends.
- When you disconnect your Google Ads account from Semust, we immediately delete your access tokens and cannot access your Google Ads data anymore.
User Control:
- You maintain full control over your Google Ads data at all times.
- You can disconnect your Google Ads account from Semust at any time through your project settings.
- Disconnecting your account immediately revokes our access to your Google Ads data.
8. Acceptance of Policy: By accessing or using semust.com, every user is deemed to have accepted the terms of this privacy policy.
