Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for setup and connection problems.

| Tools icon not showing | Quit Claude Desktop fully from the system tray, then reopen |
python not recognized | Use the full Python path in your config |
| "Invalid API key" (401) | Double-check your key in Semust settings |
| "User not active" (403) | A paid plan is required |
| "Search Console not connected" | Connect GSC in Semust → Project Settings → Integrations |
| "Google Analytics not connected" | Connect GA4 in the same place |
| "Google Ads not connected" | Connect Google Ads in the same place |
| Claude asks permission every time | Add the alwaysAllow list to your config |
| No data / empty results | GSC data has a 2-day delay; Claude accounts for this automatically |
| Config file not found | Make sure Claude Desktop is installed and has been opened at least once |
Data delay
Google Search Console data lags by roughly 2 days. If yesterday's data is not showing yet, that is expected.
